El Nido's Mangrove Forest.

No it's not a Coconut. It is a Puzzle Fruit from the Mangrove Forest.

Exploring a Mangrove Forest near Lagen Island.

These Mangrove Forests are in a Marine Sanctuary.

Hundreds of White Egrets getting ready to roost for the night. The White Egrets come from China and spend their winter in the Mangrove Forests of El Nido, Palawan.

Smart birds they sure know an excellent place to take a vacation :-).

We didn't want to scare the White Egrets so we kept our distance, therefore this photo does not justify the beauty of these birds.

An Unedible Puzzle Fruit from the Mangrove Forest.

The triangular white shaped segments are like a Jig Saw Puzzle. Once you remove each segments from the green shell you have to figure out where each piece fit.

Another unedible fruit from the Mangrove Forest.
