Our Tour Guide @ the Cathedral and Museum. She was first hired as one of the "Yaya" or Nanny of the Escudero family. She sure shared a lot of very interesting insights in the history of the Escudero family and she was also an excellent tour guide.

The Villa Escudero Cathedral and Museum does not allow the public to take any photos inside their museum. There were literally thousands of very rare, priceless, and interesting items in the museum. Some of the historical collections displayed were the photos of all the Philippine Presidents, Evolution of the Philippine Flag, Philippine Coins/Currency, Religious Artifacts, Insects, Birds, Reptiles, Wildlife, WW I & II Firearms, Artworks, Paintings, Letters of Jose Rizal (Philippine National Hero), Spanish and American historical pieces, etc. I sure enjoyed checking out the different types of antique Philippine Bamboo Fishing Rods ;-).
I definitely recommend you go to Villa Escudero during the weekend. The staff put on a wonderful presentation of Filipino songs and dances at their Coconut Pavilion show room. It truly is an awesome place to visit and explore.
